Domain Verification by ICANN

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) have announced that all domains most be verified as part of the Whois Data Accuracy Specification. Registrar sends messages to all registrant yearly to verify and update the Whois records.

Now the verification is mandatory to all new registration, transfers in and existing domains within 14 days and failing to ma this update could lead to suspension or disable the domain until the verification is done.

The update verification is mandatory and this requirement comes into effect from (01 January 2014). Domain names that are already registered are not subject to such verification unless their contact information is modified.

Message will be sent to email address of the Registrant Contact. Starting from 01 January 2014, the Registrant Contact of a Domain name will receive an email notification to verify the email address. This mail will contain a link that the Registrant must click on, to complete the verification, within 15 days. A reminder will be sent as well during the time. That is not a spam, it is from us and updates for you.

If any registrant does not complete the verification within the interval of 1 to 15 days, the registrar shall modify the name servers of the domain name to stop its resolution and point the domain name to a white-labeled holding page. This page will simply instruct that the domain name has been disabled due to the Registrant information being verified, and instruct you to contact us to make it active again.

For domains that have not verified the domain will remain online until the 14 days is over. Try as quickly as possible to click the link to make this verification.

If you have received this mail earlier please verify the details now and if you have not received any message yet, it will come and you make update as well.

For a suspended domains, you can make the update verification to have the domain name released.
